A good router left with its out-of-the-box settings often performs worse than it should.
Setup includes installing routers and access points, and splitting the network into guest and work segments, so the register and payment terminal sit on a separate, protected network instead of mixed in with guest Wi-Fi.
Passwords and encryption get checked separately, and firmware gets updated: old firmware is often the reason for freezes the owner doesn't even know about.
