Network diagnostics
Before fixing anything, the specialist checks what's actually going on with the network, otherwise you risk treating the wrong problem.
On a visit, the specialist checks the access point signal in different corners of the room, channel congestion, how many devices are connected, and whether nearby networks are interfering. They also check the speed and stability of the connection to the provider separately. Sometimes the problem isn't the Wi-Fi at all. It's the cable or the plan.
Diagnostics happen both on a client's first call and during routine visits, which makes it easier to catch a network starting to slip before customers or staff notice.
At a beauty salon, the receptionist complained about slow internet in the evenings. The check showed it wasn't the router: clients and staff were on the same network, and visitors' phones were eating up most of the bandwidth.
After diagnostics, it's clear what to fix next: the setup, the equipment, or the plan with the provider.
